Clearing the Haze of Harmful Gender Norms:

In 2024, a growing haze of extreme ideologies, misinformation, and anti-feminist movements—rooted in outdated gender norms—spread across schools, online spaces, workplaces, and homes. This alarming trend, particularly in digital spaces shaping the views of boys and young men, reaffirmed the urgent need for prevention.

At White Ribbon, our team worked tirelessly to confront these challenges, deepening our efforts to address all forms of gender-based violence and discrimination while expanding our proven programs and campaigns that foster healthier attitudes, behaviours, and social norms.

This year, our team delivered 55 programs, engaged 27,984 people in 126 workshops, and reached 9.9 million digital impressions across all of our channels.

Our work inspired 52,840 people to pledge never to commit, condone or remain silent about all forms of gender-based violence and discrimination.
