Canadian Football League Players’ Association and the United Steelworkers


White Ribbon collaborates with the Canadian Football League Players’ Association and the United Steelworkers to prevent gender-based violence and promote allyship through a customized train-the-trainer program. This initiative engages players and union members as spokespeople and advocates for gender justice, equipping them to demonstrate solidarity and leadership in their communities publicly. To date, White Ribbon has trained more than 32 spokespeople and eight leaders, helping shift culture in influential spaces across work and sport.

Sunwing

Sunwing



White Ribbon worked with Sunwing to foster a company-wide culture shift through policies, training, and allyship initiatives that equip employees at all levels to prevent gender-based violence. Additionally, Sunwing, the Canadian Steamship Lines and the Barbra Schlifer Commemorative Clinic partnered with White Ribbon to create WelcomeAtWork.ca, a program supporting hospitality, tourism, shipping, male-dominated, and other federally regulated workplaces in meeting and staying up to date with federally mandated requirements to prevent harassment and violence.

Toronto Maple Leafs



The Toronto Maple Leafs partnered with White Ribbon to demonstrate leadership and inspire men and boys to become allies in advancing gender equity and preventing gender-based violence. Through this collaboration, three iterations of the Men of Quality video were created, reaching millions of athletes, professionals, fans, and sports communities across Canada and globally, and motivating teams, staff, and supporters to take action.
