A Year of Rising Allyship:
White Ribbon’s 2025 Annual Report
In 2025, misogyny continued to evolve—spreading through online spaces, classrooms, workplaces, and communities, and increasingly shaping the attitudes and behaviours of boys and young men. This growing normalization of hate and harmful gender norms underscored the urgent need for prevention, evidence-based solutions, and sustained action.
At White Ribbon, our team responded with clarity and resolve. We shone a light on misogynistic harm while offering practical, research-informed solutions to schools, workplaces, community and institutional partners, parents, caregivers, and the public. Through bold initiatives like our My Friend, Max Hate campaign, we exposed the online grooming and radicalization of boys and young men while offering pathways toward accountability, compassion, and change.
As a national expert and thought leader, we deepened our research, advanced social norm change, and took meaningful steps toward Truth and Reconciliation through the establishment of an Indigenous Advisory Circle and the development of an Indigenous strategic plan.
This year, we delivered 58 programs and engaged 6,683 participants through 89 workshops, trainings, and presentations across Canada and the world.
Our work inspired 35,983 people to pledge never to commit, condone, or remain silent about all forms of gender-based violence and discrimination.
This annual report invites you to explore the impact of our work in 2025—from our refreshed identity and original research to the My Friend, Max Hate campaign confronting online misogyny head-on.
Together, with your support, we can stop gender-based violence and discrimination from escalating—now and in the future.
